We are an inclusive, family-oriented daycare center in Berlin Moabit – founded by parents and driven by a shared vision: to support children on an equal footing. The needs of the children are our top priority. We see diversity as an enrichment and practice participation and inclusion every day. In our daycare center, every child is welcome to be themselves – unique, curious, strong, and sensitive.
Who we are
What began as an idea over coffee in the summer of 2020 is now a lived reality: a daycare center that welcomes diversity and gives children space to grow. A small parent initiative has become a dedicated association – with the goal of creating a place where every child is seen for who they are. Today, "Auf Augenhöhe" (On Equal Footing) is a vibrant place where children, families, and educators collaborate, learn from each other, and support one another.

What is important to us
In our daycare center, we support children with trust, mindfulness, and respect. Our daily routine is characterized by inclusion, a focus on individual needs, and non-violent communication. Each child is seen in their uniqueness, taken seriously, and individually supported. We believe in the inherent competence of every child and create spaces that enable self-directed learning. Diversity, equality, and participation are central to our approach. Therefore, we also provide places for children with special educational needs.
Sustainability is part of our everyday life. We use green electricity, rely on pollutant-free natural materials, and promote conscious consumer behavior. We also pay attention to the environment and diversity when it comes to food – with vegetarian organic options.
